On July 14th, 2020 Robert (Bob) Karl Friedrich Mann passed away. He was born in Gary, IN in 1953 but spent the majority of his life living in the greater Cleveland area and graduated from Hawken School. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin, he obtained a Masters Degree in history from Cleveland State and then graduated from Georgetown Law School Magna Cum Laude. He went on to have a successful career practicing law in Cleveland. Bob is known for his love of books, music, sports and learning. He loved to travel and study languages. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Georg and Downing Mann and nephew Christopher Johnson. He is survived by his sister Margaret Sims, brother Berndt Mann, wife Betty Farley, daughter Margaret Downing Mann, son George Karl Friedrich Mann, daughter-in-law Lisa Ruth Mann and mother of his children, Sally Fahrenholz.
