Gaetano was a machinist by trade, retiring from General Motors. Having a strong work ethic, he was not ready to give up work. He went on to work with his family at their bakery. He always enjoyed working with his hands, whether it be in a factory building heavy construction equipment or in the bakery making bread. Gaetano was proud of his work.
While at times he could be stubborn, he will be remembered for always being willing to lend a helping hand, offering you a meal, being an unconditional friend, having the ability to communicate with animals and being happiest when surrounded by family.
A memorial mass celebrating his life will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Clare Church, 5659 Mayfield Road, Lyndhurst, OH 44124 (while practicing social distancing and wearing masks).
