Timothy Charles Hensley, age 58, of Akron, OH passed away Thursday, January 7th, 2021. Born in Columbus, OH in 1962, he spent the early years of his life in Euclid, OH before moving to Lakewood, OH in his middle school years. He was a graduate of Lakewood High School in 1980. As a child, he loved tinkering with electronics and deconstructing devices to understand how they worked. He took that curiosity and knowledge into his adult life and began working on cars. He was an avid music lover and enjoyed such groups as Metallica, Pink Floyd, Van Halen and Bob Seger. He liked to cook and could create some of the best tasting meals. Overall he was well liked, had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Patricia (Pierce) Hensley. He is survived by his sister, Lynn (Andy) Bagi, his son, Bryon Cogar, his son’s mother, Karen Cogar and her daughter, Hannah Cogar. A private viewing will be held on January 14, 2021.
