Elean Heist (Feb 17, 2023)
My family and I extend our deepest sympathies to all of David's family. We were all blessed to know David during his time at Hill U.P. Church in Butler. He was a wonderful, kind, loving, talented person with such a heart for service and music. We pray that the precious memories you have of David will give you some measure of peace until you meet again. All our love, Gregory and Elean Heist and family

I echo what Elean has written and my personal sadness. While at Hill David became a friend. I the assistant organist was one who was interested in learning from David. In addition, we had interesting conversations. I especially enjoyed those about the spelling of his last name and the comparisons with others who used "Do" to begin spelling. These are good memories to cherish.
