Charles Robert (Chuck) Maro, born March 7, 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio, departed for his Heavenly home on February 16, 2022. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph (Rudy) Maro, and Emily Maro (nee Seedhouse) as well as his brother, Jackie Maro, his nephew, Michael MacGillis and his great nephew, Owen Greener. He is survived by his loving Son, David (Maria) Maro, and his cherished granddaughter, Sophia. Chuck also leaves behind four devoted sisters, Karen Battista, Judy (Bob) Seedhouse, Donna (Larry) Danielson, and Diana Walter; five nieces, Lisa (Ron) Johnson, Tracy (Craig) Springford, Stacie (Matt) Sokolowski, Kristyna Kubb, and Kimberly Seedhouse; and three nephews, Greg (Kim) Walter, Bryan Walter, and Geoff (Kalle) Walter. In addition to dozens of great nieces and nephews he leaves countless friends, including Dave Lathem and special people he considered family, including Michelle Molina.

Chuck was a talented woodworker and carpenter and spent many years building and remodeling in the Cleveland and Phoenix areas. When his knees would no longer cooperate, he reinvented himself and began a very successful courier business that spanned the country from Ohio to Southern California. Chuck took great pleasure in his church, a good debate, and was an avid reader and longtime supporter of conservative movements. He was a member of the NRA and fiercely defended his 2nd Amendment Rights. Chuck loved God, his family and his country and will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing and loving him. All are welcome to attend a Memorial Service in Chuck’s honor on March 12, 2022, 1:00pm at New Hope Independent Baptist Church (4021 W. 120th Street, Cleveland) with a fellowship time immediately following. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Chuck’s name to either Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org/donate) or the Republic National Committee (www.gop.com).
